What a long title and such a hard title to type, "The Yowler Foul-Up". This is the second instalment of "The Illmoor Chronicles". Maybe you are getting bored of this series already, but I can promise you that this second instalment is definitely better than the first one. It is indeed more interesting and there was no adaption from any fairytale, so it is pretty original. David Lee Stone, I believe, is becoming a better writer from time to time. Anyway, the next blog entry will be on a spy series. If you are bored of books, well, rejoice! I'm gonna do an entry on the Phua Chu Kang Musical. I watched it on the opening night, I think. Haha! But only my sister and I watched the musical as we only had two tickets. You see, my father works in Valuair which is a sponsor of the musical and so he got one ticket, his friend gave him the other. Haha! Anyway, I will tell you later in the other blog entries. Haha! Well, I'm going to eat now, my dinner, later I will write the details so, well, hold on.
OK, I just finished my dinner. So, "The Yowler Foul-Up" is a story about this group of dangerous thieves and assassins called The Yowlers. One part of the group decided to work on their own. This particular group wanted to turn the people of Dullitch into stone. And so the main character of this story, Duke Modeset, was called back from his hometown. You see, Duke Modeset was sort of banished from Dullitch for some I-forgot-for-what reasons. Actually when he was called back, there was no problem yet with The Yowlers. Actually he was invited by his cousin who was the present duke, Viscount. Well, when he came, Viscount did not "recognise" him. Anyway, there was a vampire who was another main character called Obegarde. Obegarde was considered a half-vampire and he had special healing powers. WOW! Just like Wolverine in X-Men! Well, Obegarde was hired as a private investigator to check on The Yowlers as there was a minor problem surfacing. Later the whole group, Jimmy Quickstint, Duke Modeset, Obegarde and a lovely maiden who knew a little bit of magic to help them, found out the horrible plan of the separated group of Yowlers. The Lark was heading them and she was a very powerful mage, magician. Well, they asked a thief to steal a few special lizards who could turn people to stone and later asked a gnome called Mixer to kill him. Later, Mixer was caught by Obegarde but later escaped. Anyway, Mixer was instructed to kill the group. Anyway, the group was able to reach the place where the machine was and later stopped the calamity from happening. Beautiful story I think. Now for the review. By the way, I'm listening to the music on my blog, "I Am" by Hitomi. Haha! Nice song I think. Don't you think so too?
Well, now I changed the song to "Hollaback Girl" by Gwen Stefani. Beautiful song too. Anyway, I think that this book is pretty book, novel I mean as I said at the start of this blog entry. Consider that a review. I give this book, I mean novel, a beautiful 3 and a half stars out of 5. Now, in the next blog entry, I'm going to write about the spy series I like. Haha! Anyway, now my parents are quarrelling over a handphone. Love squabbles...... Haha!
Saiyonara!
